STEM X Academy welcomes new research partner

//STEM X Academy welcomes new research partner

STEM Education Research Group, School of Education, Curtin University and Australian Science Teachers Association (ASTA) have partnered to provide individualised professional learning experience which will empower and support teachers to reflect on their classroom practice after their participation in the STEM X Academy.

Teachers return to their schools after the STEM X Academy engaged and enthused and report making significant changes to learning in their classrooms. Reflect X create a reflective capacity to be added to the STEM X Academy so that teachers who are interested in measuring their impact on their students can access tools and ongoing support in their classrooms. Curtin University will also be a pioneer in forming and leading a network of STEM education centres/groups in Australian universities that will extend the proposed partnership to other states in Australia.

We are pleased to welcome Dr Rachel Sheffield as a representative from the STEM Education Research Group at Curtin University.
